Who operates Strela
Strela is a live experience discovery product operated by Sebastián Nájera, an independent developer in Mexico. This notice covers the Strela iOS app, strelapp.com and messages sent to Strela’s contact addresses. For privacy matters, write to hello@strelapp.com.
Information we handle
What you choose to provide
In the app, you can choose a city, interests, a usual budget, search terms, saved searches and saved events, and notification and location preferences. These choices are stored on your device. Strela does not currently require an account. If you email us, we receive the address, message and any details you include.
App requests and location
The app requests event data from Strela’s backend. In the remote app mode, a search may send your query and filters. If you enable location and use a nearby search, the app may send your latitude and longitude with the search request. Location permission is optional and managed through iOS. The updated app build holds the latest coordinate in memory and does not cache nearby searches; earlier builds may retain coordinate-bearing search cache entries until the update is installed and opened. The backend does not save search queries or coordinates in its event database, although hosting systems may process request information.
Saved information and diagnostics
Saved items, preferences, recent searches and a limited cache of event results remain in iPhone storage until you change or remove them or delete the app. In the current release implementation, app event names are printed only during debug builds; Strela has not integrated a third-party analytics or crash reporting SDK. iOS and Apple may handle system diagnostics under their own settings and policies.
Outbound visits
When you choose an offer in the remote app, Strela routes you to the provider and records the selected event, offer, provider, source and time of the redirect. The database can also hold optional attribution fields, such as a session or anonymous ID, but the current iOS offer button does not send those fields. Strela does not put your saved events or profile into this click record. The destination provider may receive ordinary browser or app request information and apply its own privacy notice.
Website visits
This website has no contact form or marketing cookies in its site code. Its small interaction hook does not send data to an analytics service. On the published site, Cloudflare Web Analytics adds a script that measures page views and page performance and sends those measurements to Cloudflare. Cloudflare also processes IP addresses and request or security information to deliver and protect the site, and may use necessary security cookies. The website’s images and fonts are served from the same site; event images shown in the iOS app may be served by external image hosts.
How we use information
We use app choices to show and order relevant events, searches to return results, optional location to find nearby events, and redirect records to understand which official offers people choose and to attribute the source of that visit. We use contact messages to answer requests and manage potential partnerships. Technical request information helps deliver, protect and troubleshoot the service. We do not currently offer an in-app ticket checkout.
Retention and security
Device preferences, saved items and cached results remain until you change them, remove them where the app allows, or uninstall Strela; event caches are limited in number but do not have a time-based expiry. Backend redirect records currently have no automatic deletion schedule. Contact emails remain in the relevant mailbox until deleted under the operator’s mail practices. Hosting and provider logs follow their own settings and retention periods, which Strela is reviewing. We take reasonable steps to protect data, but no system can promise complete security.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can use Strela without enabling location, turn location off in the app or iOS Settings, change your interests and budget, unsave events, delete saved searches, and uninstall the app to remove its local data. Notifications are optional; the current app asks for permission, but saved-search alerts are not yet delivered.
In Mexico, you may request access, rectification, cancellation or opposition (ARCO) regarding personal data we hold, and ask to limit its use or disclosure. Email hello@strelapp.com with the right you wish to exercise, a description of the data or concern, and a way to reply. We may request information needed to verify identity before acting, and will respond under applicable law. Because Strela has no account and does not attach the current redirect record to a named user, some records may not be identifiable from a request alone. You may also use this address to ask about deletion or withdraw a permission you previously gave; iOS permissions can be changed directly in Settings.
Children, changes and contact
Strela is a general live-event discovery service and is not designed specifically for children. We do not currently verify ages. If we materially change this notice or the product’s data practices, we will update this page and its date before the change takes effect where required.
